—Like getting TWO Therapists for the Price of ONE

We are a Husband and Wife team who have the ability to change your life. Action Explorations (Psychodrama) is very different from ordinary “talk therapy.” The goal of therapy is to have an experience where you learn to manage problems by increasing your spontaneity and creativity. We specialize in helping people who struggle with RELATIONAL TRAUMA and ADDICTIONS. If you have tried talk therapy and didn’t find the experience beneficial then maybe this form of therapy is right for you.

Dr. Johnson (Allen) will direct the individual session as Mrs. Johnson (Jill) will role play parts of oneself, and/or the people in one’s life. This can be very helpful as the person becomes able to see through the eyes of another. In this way the person receiving individual therapy begins to see from several vantage points outside of themselves to find the answers they need. As spontaneity goes up anxiety goes down helping the individual to find new and adequate solutions to life’s issues. If you are not sure that groups are right for you then this becomes a way to get the benefits of role play while having therapy be a little more personalized. This is a novel approach that you must experience for yourself.
